The Aviation Arbitration Association of the United States is the national organization of the aviation community for alternative dispute resolution in America.

We are a not for profit organization, which publishes information to the public about alternative dispute resolution in the aviation industry.

 

As part of its mission, the Association further facilitates aviation arbitrator training and certification. Lastly, the Association provides the most efficient aviation dispute resolution available, through arbitration and other out-of-court settlement options.

When aviation industry disputes are resolved privately, without resorting to legal actions, both parties are often made better off due to the avoidance of costly lawsuits or foreign arbitral proceedings.

The Association is the only national alternative dispute resolution organization whose arbitrators are required to be well-versed in the aviation industry. Certified Aviation Arbitrators have knowledge of not only the legal, but also the technical and business aspects uniquely impacting the aviation industry.
